Description
19" (48 cm.) x 16" frame. 9"h. costumes. Presented under glass in a wooden frame are two white cotton hand-stitched doll garments, each with ink-lettered note, one indicating "5 yrs and 2 months" and the other "5 yrs and 5 months". An old type-written paper under the glass indicates that the costumes were "handsewn by Queen Victoria" at these young ages. Excellent condition. Mid-1800s.
