Description
17" (43 cm.) Of fine walnut finish with inlay banding, mother of pearl medallion, and urn shaped ornament at the crest, the clock features a porcelain watch face in a cast bronze mounting that features figurals of cherubs placing a crown on the profile of a person. The clock face is decorated with three oval painted colorful scenes featuring a woman's face and two cottages, and has three dials, for hourly time, for day of the month and for month of the year. Excellent condition, works appear complete, uncertain if working. Circa 1850. Provenance: Legoland Museum.
