Solid domed bisque socket head with ebony black complexion, black painted hair with detail of forelock curl, painted dark brown eyes in deeply-set sockets, black painted brows and eye liner, accented nostrils, closed mouth with dark coral lips, black composition bent limb baby body, cotton romper suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 126 Germany 36. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the premiere model from their firm's art character series was offered by the firm with various complexion colors, the black and brown complexions being quite rare. Value Points: rare model with flawless gleaming complexion, original perfectly-matched body finish.
