24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, pretty antique dress. Marks: 15. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish. Comments: Sonneberg, the doll was made to compete with the French bebes which largely controlled the market at that time, circa 1882. Value Points: especially beautiful doll with very choice delicate complexion and soft blushing
