18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with firmly-stuffed head, oil-painted hair and facial features, brown forelock curls, painted shaded brown eyes with black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blushed cheeks and ears, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 113222 Kathe Kruse (left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, the second period of the Type I model, circa 1935. Value Points: endearing expression on the wistful-faced character, wearing wonderful lederhausen costume.
