Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, plump face, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye-shadow, widely-feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with accented and outlined lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque arms to above the elbows with elegantly sculpted arms and fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value points: very beautiful face enhanced by finest bisque and painting, gentle expression, original wig, rare body with bisque arms, antique aqua silk faille gown, undergarments, stockings, shoes, lace cap with aqua velvet bows.
