Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with darker iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with upturned lip corners, pale accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with square cut collarette, shapely torso, gusset-jointing at hips, bisque hands with separately-sculpted fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D (head and shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his deposed model believed to depict the beloved Empress Eugenie, circa 1872. Value Points: sought-after model with outstanding sculpting, complexion and painting, original body with exquisitely-sculpted hands, original couturier gown, undergarments, bonnet, leather ankle boots.
