7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shy smile, peg-jointed bisque arms and very shapely legs, tiny ankles, bare feet. blonde mohair wig over plaster pate. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 1/2. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: especially wonderful detail of body modeling on the dear smiling child.
