8" (20 cm.) All-bisque one-piece figure of standing Brownie as Chinese Man with sculpted googly downcast eyes, sculpted costume comprising blue tunic and pants, pom-pom cap, yellow slippers with upturned toes; the detail of sculpting includes long queue down its back torso. Excellent condition Germany, circa 1895, inspired by the illustrations of Palmer Cox.
