Wax swivel head with angular face, black bead eyes, white mohair rolled curls, wooden carved torso, lower arms and legs from above the knees, carved and gilt painted sandal lacing, wearing original ivory embroidered silk costume with gilt thread accents and fringe, matching head-dress, with detachable carved wooden angel with elaborate ornate feathered detail and red/blue shaded polychromed finish. Excellent condition. Continental, late 1700s.
