8" (20 cm.) Chubby bisque swivel head on chubby bisque torso, blue glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, long painted lashes, single-stroke brows, tiny pug nose, little impish smile on closed mouth, loop-jointing at shoulders and hips, jointed elbows and knees, painted socks and brown one-strap shoes, brunette mohair wig. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 112 5 (head and torso). Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: delightful googly with very rare jointing at elbows and knees, very fine quality of bisque, charming antique costume.
