8" (20 cm.) l. box. 2 1/2" l. fan. The oval-shaped jewelry box of cast metal has richly-plated gilt finish, rests upon four cherub figurals, and has a hinged glass lid with beveled edge. It opens to a collection of various doll jewelry and accessories, including two folding fans, pocket watch, faux-watches, lorgnettes, opera glasses and more. Very good/excellent. Late 19th century.
