Description
9" (23 cm.) A bisque-headed doll with blue glass eyes, painted features, open mouth, four tiny teeth, five-piece paper mache body, is completely enclosed excepting her face in a white fur bunny costume that is decorated with delicate rose silk bows and brass bells. She is holding a tray of paper mache decorated Easter eggs, and a woven hotte basket is attached to her back containing three paper mache bunnies. The doll is presented in beautiful card paper box with rose paper cover, gilt edging, silk bows, and a color lithograph of a bunny holding a tray of eggs. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1890, a superb presentation throughout.
