18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original stitch-jointed muslin body, bisque arms to above the elbows. Condition: generally excellent, restoration to four finger tips. Comments: Pierre-Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: gorgeous portrait model enhanced by finest bisque, complexion and painting, with beautiful bronze silk gown, matching bonnet, lorgnette, watch with fob, leather purse, undergarments, stockings, tan leather shoes.
