12" (30 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead turned to the side, brown sculpted hair in short curls, brown enamel eyes, slightly-smiling expression, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, sculpted very wrinkled brown stockings and black shoes with red buckles, wearing original homespun pants and shirt, paper-lined linen laced vest in unusual pattern. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, very expressive features, rare stockings.
