Each about 3/4" shield-shaped and brilliantly gold-plated, including one that is labeled "Captain Santa Monica Police", with chain-attached pearl-accented letter "S", marked 10 Kt.; and another marked "Detective Los Angeles Police" with her initials "S.T., which is embedded with a small diamond and inscribed on the reverse "Tom Young, Chief Police, 2-1-37". 1930s.
