32" (81 cm.) Bisque socket head with elongated facial modeling and full cheeks, brown glass sleep eyes, lashes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked brows with enhancing glaze, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with slightly-parted outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 17 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: especially beautiful modeling, defined dimples at chin, philtrum, and lip corners, finest quality of bisque, original body and body finish.
