9" (23 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of young lad with black sculpted short bobbed wind-blown hair, enamel eyes, ruddy complexion, mouth modeled as though calling out, teeth, tongue, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, bare feet, wearing original white shirt, yellow pants and vest with braid trim, and carrying a rack of breadstuffs. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s.
