All wooden carved doll, socket head, intaglio painted brown eyes with pronounced large black pupils, white eyedots, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with wistful expression, mohair bobbed wig, wooden spring-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17th 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912, model 301. Value Points: most appealing wistful expression on the brown-eyed chap, with fine original finish, and wearing factory-original costume including shoes.
