Description
4" (10 cm.) x 3". The heavy card stock box is decorated with lavish embossed gilt papers, has little gilt claw feet, and a removable lid that is trimmed with a silk cushion top in the shape of a checkerboard. Excellent condition. French, circa 1880, originally presented by a luxury Parisian candy shop as candy container.
