17" (43 cm.) Gofun-finished complexion, enamel inset eyes, shaded brushstroked brows, closed mouth, elaborate coiffure with wide wings and upswept topknot decorated with a variety of hair ornaments, painted feathering of hair around the forehead edges, armature body, sculpted hands, wearing fine crepe silk costume in shaded purple-to-rose-to-red shades with vibrant floral designs, silk brocade obi, slippers, on original stand. Excellent condition. Japanese, Showa era.
