Description
10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden body with straight wrists, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, an original 1/2" firing line at left side rim of head. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: lovely expression and bisque, original early body in especially fine condition.
