10" (25 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta, sculpted brown hair, enamel eyes, mouth modeled open as though singing, teeth, tongue tip, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, carved wrinkled green legs, black shoes with red buckles, wearing original costume comprising striped velvet breeches and blue jacket and carrying tortoise-shell guitar with mother-of-pearl inlay. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
