Pressed bisque socket head with pear-shaped face, very full cheeks, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, shaded nostrils of pointy-tip nose, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded lips, impressed chin and philtrum, dimples, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-ball jointed body with flat-cut derriere, straight wrists, slightly-curled fingers, beautifully costumed in antique dress with white pique jacket, very elaborate bonnet, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9 (large raised number). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1884. Value Points: possibly largest size of the sought-after bebe has finest quality bisque and sculpting, original body and body finish, splendid presence.
