Sculpted depiction of young girl seated on bench as she gazes downward at the world map which is printed on her skirt, the doll with artistically painted facial features, heavily-modeled eyelids, closed mouth, wispy red auburn hair, attached costume to padded wire armature body, bisque hands. Condition: near mint. Comments: Anke Daanen, early 2000s. Value Points: the image of an adventure seeking young girl is artfully portrayed in her expression and outstanding costume with floral applique trim and laced leggings, and accentuated by a toy sailing vessel resting on her skirt, presumably the core of her dreams.
