10 1/2" (27 cm.) One-piece wooden head and torso with shapely neck, rounded face, shapely torso with tiny waist, black sculpted hair, painted complexion and facial features, blushed cheeks, thin line mouth, painted red corset, kid upper legs, wooden lower arms and legs, red paper wraps at junctions of kid and wood. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1850. Value Points: rare to find early wooden doll with wonderfully preserved finish on hair, face and torso.
