34" (86 cm.) Bisque head with mannequin-styled socket neck, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: professional restoration all around neck socket, some repaint to body. Marks: F.G. (scroll). Comments; Gaultier, the head was originally designed for use with mannequin body, circa 1885. Value Points: especially beautiful face, complexion, painting of features, lovely antique silk costume.
