Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, impressed dimple at philtrum, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 9 (head, and artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: pristine condition with finest gleaming complexion, original Jumeau wig, and wearing original couturier costume from the atelier of Ernestine Jumeau including dress and matching bonnet, Jumeau earrings, original undergarments, socks, and Jumeau shoes signed Paris Bebe (bee symbol).
