19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with blonde sculpted hair in pageboy arrangement, captured under with a black snood which is decorated at side of her face thick white tassel band which extends across her crown, blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, muslin body, antique pale green linsey/woolsey costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: light glaze to the bisque provides a pleasing complexion on this fascinating contrast to lots #53 and #55.
