Description
Of finely woven natural linen, the ensemble features a princess-style dress with handmade button holes and wooden buttons, coat sleeves, narrow box pleats at the back below the hips; along with a matching jacket with princess lines which appears as though it was a single unit with the dress. The ensemble features faux pockets, constructed decorative panels at the back, double border of braid trim down the front, and elaborate application of broderie Anglaise edging the jacket front, cuffs, and collar. For 22" child doll. 5" shoulders, 14" overall length. Circa 1880.
