Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brushstroked baby hair, painted facial features, small light brown painted eyes with black upper eyeliner, feathered brows, closed mouth with downcast lips, composition five-piece baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C.P. 201 23 (doll and box label). Comments: Catterfelder Puppenfabrick, from their 200 art character series introduced in 1910. Value Points: rare to find model in pristine original condition, outstanding facial modeling including dimples and laughter lines, and preserved in original box with label "Characterpuppe Serie 201/23 C.P."
