17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with blonde sculpted hair in pageboy arrangement, captured under a black snood which is decorated at side of her face with a thick green tasseled band which extends across her crown and is decorated with gilt accents, blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, new muslin body and bisque arms, antique pale green silk costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: appealing contrast to the decoration of the same model which is shown in #53 and #54, with extra luxury gilt accents.
