21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, thickly fringed painted upper lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with full pouty lips, accent line between the lips, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique blue velvet two-piece suit with Buster Brown style collar, matching cap, leggings, leather shoes, and carrying Papa's watch and a toy sword. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 54. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the model Hans from their art character series, circa 1912. Value Points: very rare glass eye variation of the wistful young lad, enhanced by superb sculpting, bisque and painting, original body and body finish, great costume.
