Each of the luxury candy boxes has gilt-edged frame with hand-painted court scene in the 18th century manner; the candy boxes are displayed in gilt wooden frame with velvet matting. Excellent condition. Exceptional vibrant detail of the rich scenes, and superb state of presentation. French, circa 1850.
