Description
16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with mask-pressed and hand-painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, very rosy cheeks, red lips, brunette mohair braid, original jointing at shoulders and hips. The doll is wearing her original cream organdy dress with red printed design and red rick-rack, slip, pantalets, socks and black one-strap shoes. The dress is tagged "Meg/Little Women/Copyright/Madame Alexander NY". Near mint condition, very choice state of preservation, Madame Alexander, 1933, the doll is preserved in her original early box with chubby cheek child image, and has original gold octagon wrist tag.
