22" (56 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with oval face and elongated throat, brown sculpted hair in elaborate coiffure in side part with a cluster of tight curls at the left side of hair, hair drawn back at the left side, sculpted pierced ears, pageboy coiffe at the back with painted black snood, painted large blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, aquiline nose, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, kid stitch-jointed body, lovely antique silk gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include brown hair, elaborate coiffure, pierced ears.
