25" (64 cm.) Poured wax shoulderhead of adult lady with modeled bosom, her head inclined to the side and gazing modestly downward, blue glass enamel inset eyes, tinted brows and eye liner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette inset human hair, original muslin body with shapely waist, brass grommets for attachment of wax limbs to torso, slender wax arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent, complexion pleasingly faded. Comments: English, in the Pierotti manner, circa 1875. Value Points: exquisite portrait with distinctive regal pose, original body, antique muslin gown, undergarments, original ivory kidskin heeled slippers.
