16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some body repaint. Marks: XI. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: most endearing sweet expression enhanced by very delicate complexion, original body, lovely costume.
