Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, Steiner composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Figure A No.3/0 J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner (body) (fragments of original Au Nain Bleu label on torso). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1889. Value Points: lovely petite bebe with original body and body finish, choice bisque and painting.
