Description
14" (36 cm.) Seated upon a red silk covered candy container egg is a little bisque head boy with blue glass eyes, painted lashes, open mouth, blonde fleecy wig, wooden block torso and limbs, and original costume; the egg is arranged upon a wheeled cart under a woven trellis decorated with red flowers, and is pulled by a fleecy lamb with paper mache face and wooden legs with attached metal wheels. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1890. Value Points: rare candy container presentation is most delightful and is perfectly preserved.
