Description
16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes with white eyedots, long curly lashes, blonde mohair bobbed wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. He is wearing original one-piece shirt with black and white patterned cotton trousers, black flannel jacket, silk voile bow tie, socks, black front-snap shoes, and black pressed felt flannel top hat. Excellent condition. The doll has original cloth tag on costume "David Copperfield/Madame Alexander. New York". Madame Alexander, 1933, depicting the character from the Charles Dickens novel, the doll has original gold foil tag which lists three dolls from the series.
