Description
22" (56 cm.) x 13" x 12". The wooden three-sided toy shop with shelved interior on three inside walls has decorative front-side panels with architectural details including painted paned windows and upper stained glass panels, and with original painted finish in soft shades of cream, blue, and red accents. The shelves are lined with dozens of miniature early wooden Erzebirge toys including soldiers, horses with delivery carts and drivers, village people, animals, and a carousel, along with a set of lithographed wooden block and shelves of penny bisque dolls, and more, along with original wooden counter. Germany, attributed to Christian Hacker, circa 1890.
