Gypsum socket head, classic style B III, painted blue eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, fringed lashes, dark brown painted brows, closed mouth with pale lips, original hip-length straight blonde hair with bangs, cloth twill body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Sasha studio doll, circa 1950, the doll was likely commissioned as a portrait of a blonde-haired Swiss child whose actual hair was used for the unusual wig; the doll was named Claudia by her original owner. Value Points: rare studio model whose unique hair color and beautifully painted eyes contrast with dark eyeliner and brows, wearing original blue and white striped dress with matching pants, white chemise, socks, and black felt shoes.
