24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head with slender head, brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lower lashes, slightly-modeled brushstroked brows with feathered details, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair in original upswept coiffure, French composition and wooden ball-jointed lady body with modeled bosom and shapely derriere, elongated limbs. Condition: generally excellent, original body finish albeit some paint flake on hands. Marks: 1159 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 10. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900, the doll was marketed by SFBJ as fashionable Edwardian society lady, with head commissioned from Simon and Halbig. Value Points: regal lady with excellent bisque, original body, body finish, wig, and factory costume (not shown).
