Bisque swivel head on bisque shoulderplate, blue spiral-threaded eyes, dark eyeliner, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 3 H 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: all original doll, closed mouth, swivel head, beautiful antique folklore costume including coiffe, elaborate metal laced vest, silk chatelaine.
