11" (28 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with square cut collarette, gusset- jointing at hips and knees, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A (head and shoulderplate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1872, the model was deposed in that year. Value Points: rare smallest size of the smiling poupee has very beautiful bisque, eyes, original body and bisque hands, original costume.
