Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) All bisque with kid-edged swivel head, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain tiny teeth, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted black stockings, brown two-strap heeled shoes with little bows, brunette human hair braids. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 886. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: sought-after so-called black-stocking model with dramatic large brown eyes, wearing pretty antique dress and undergarments.
