14" (36 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, reddish/brown sculpted hair in arranged curls away from her face and captured in an unusual vertical-looped braid at her back crown, enamel eyes, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings, green boots, wearing original silk royal robes in green and burgundy with gilt braid trim, pearl beading, and with necklace and ornate earrings. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, late 1700s.
