25" (64 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted blonde brushstroked baby hair, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain lower teeth, composition bent limb baby body, wonderful antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JDK made in Germany 20. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: rare size allowing superb detail of modeling such as dimples and laughter crinkles around eyes, finest quality of bisque.
