Solid domed bisque head with very chubby cheeks, sculpted short curly hair in tannish/brown color, brown glass sleep eyes, short painted curly lashes, tinted brows, rounded nose, tiny rosebud-shaped mouth, two tiny teeth, composition baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 126 12/0 Germany. Comments: maker uncertain, circa 1928, the model exactly resembles the Skippy doll presented by Effanbee and is likely designed as a portrait model of child silent film star Jackie Coogan. Value Points: rare character with most appealing chubby cheeks wearing nice antique baby dress.
